Tonsilitis (again) and pink ears. The last time he had pink ears he went on antibiotics immediately, and by the time we we visited the ENT 4 days later the infection was evident (which Bill was told is normal, the antibiotics don't work that quickly).
The good news is that the fever broke late Sunday night and hasn't returned. John received an antibiotic shot at the doctor yesterday and was in much better spirits today. I called the ENT, and they told me they'd call me back if there were any issues with his surgery on Monday; I didn't get a call, so I think the tubes are still a go.
