Yikes, it's been how long since I posted?

Not much going on here, just trying to unbury myself from the most recent move, but working full time, trying to take care of John, and just generally trying to have a life outside of that prevents me from getting much done. LOL, what I'd give for a month off work with both DH at work, and John at daycare. I could probably get it all done and get a nap in each day to boot, which might do wonders for my fatigue.

I had my rescheduled jury duty yesterday, what a farce. At least the court workers have improved drastically, and were actually polite and respectful to everyone, even the old people who had no clue what they were doing (my big bone of contention with one of my last visits). I angered my GPS so badly by not listening to it, that it blew up, and I had to commit the ultimate sin by reprogamming it while driving. Downtown Detroit is just downright confusing. Add construction to the mix, and it's a freaky mess - not for the faint-hearted, which is definately me. I was bummed, on the map, it looked the the casinos were no where near the court. When I got released, I looked up, and there was my favorite one, Greektown, just a block away. I could have had a nice afternoon, but really, I don't think it would be as fun without Bill. Anyway, after my GPS got me out of there, I made it home in time to take a 2 hour nap before John came home, so it wasn't such a bad afternoon after all.

John is doing wonderfully - becoming quite the little parrot. Bill & I have had to learn new language skills really quickly. My new words are: fllllllip, ohhhhcarp, daaaaaaang, ssssshhhake. I took John out for a walk a couple of weeks ago and saw a rabbit. I pointed it out to John, saying "see the bunny?" John says back "rabbit". We watch it for a bit, then start to move. The rabbit starts to move, and John says, "go rabbit, hop". I'm starting to think he's smarter than I am.

I'm bad. No new pictures. Hopefully soon. I haven't used my video camera since February. Yes, I'm an idiot.
