John & his room B&A

Ahhh, nerves. John is getting tubes put in his ears tomorrow, and I'm already a nervous wreck. I'll post an update after we get home.

For some reason, I don't have a true before of his bedroom, I think because I didn't have the camera settings right when I first got it, and so many of the pictures were blurry. Here's a shot of the LOVELY wallpaper; the border had already been stripped off.

Here's a couple of room shots after the wallpaper & carpet were gone, and after my dad hung the ceiling fan. The kitchen contractor was able to fix the louvered door for us, which I'm happy about as I wasn't excited to replace it.

The new color scheme.......

Getting ready to move in. I have a toddler bed in the same maple tone. It's pretty cool, it's a modern style, and sits right on the floor, so no worries of him falling out of bed at night. Even if he does, the carpet is so plush he might not know he's not in bed. It feels like you're walking on a sponge in there, the shag carpet is over an inch thick, and we went with the upgraded padding.
