Random Nonsense

So, no pics. The past 2 days, I've been in an all day hellish nightmare insurance class that requires studying in the evenings. Why am I even posting when I should be studying long term health care? Because I just had to share how brilliant my 13 month old child is............

To start - for those that know me, you know that I may tend to swear once in a while. Maybe a little more. Oh hell, to be truthful, I can put a sailor to shame. One of the most difficult things I've had to do as a parent, so far, is to TRY to become more motherly and ladylike and put a damper on my mouth. Somedays I do a better job than others, but I'm very cognizant of the fact that my son is 13 months old, starting to talk, and is a fine imitator!

So, I get home from the nightmare insurance class the other night with at least 2 hours of studying ahead of me, not in any good state of mind. Bill walks out with John, and in my excitemement to see them, I trip on the step and dump my insurance book and all the flipping handouts, which prompts me to promptly drop the "F" bomb. Bill laughs at me and says that I shouldn 't say that around John (he's laughing because this is pretty much a daily conversation - WE can't swear around the kid anymore......) and John says, clear as day, BAD WORD. With Bill as my witness, that is what he said.

Typically, John says Dada, Mama, Baba, Dot (dog), ball, and Ja (when he points at his own picture). I think we're in trouble...........

I know I am the same way although I am better at it now. If you start watching what you say now John might just say not-so bad words by the time he turns 2. I remember Skylar dropping something at about 14 months and saying shit. She hasn't said it since. HOWEVER,She is fond of OH GOD ,DAM IT, and JESUS. Not all in one sentence..LOL

That is my worst fear. LOL! The worst thing that DS has said is Jesus. I suppose I should watch myself alittle more.

BwaHaaHaHaHa! You read my blog....you know I'm in trouble, too. I sooo sympathize. Let me know if you come up with a behavior modification plan....I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!
