Yum, ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Mom got lazy and didn't feel like baking. Actually, it wasn't so much being lazy, but this was the big lay-off week at work, and several people I knew got cut, and was feeling kind of bummed and wasn't in the mood to bake. From the look on John's face, I don't think he was missed the homemade cake one bit.........
Nope, I'm thinking I would not have got a bigger smile with a homemade cake, especially when we told him this one was made out of ice cream.
LOL, thankfully no spitting when he blew out the candle!
Mommy cut the cake! These were taken after his nap, presents were already opened and investigated by then. There were actually balloons and decorations in the other room, but I forgot to get photos of everything but the cake. DOH!
